Tactical Command and Staff College

The Tactical Command and Staff College is responsible for the Master's Degree studies in the National Defence University and also provides guidance on the military sciences studies organised in the Service and branch schools.

The Master's degree is has three different programmes, which are: officer, officer pilot and Executive Assistance Programme.

The Tactical Command and Staff College was established as an independent unit from the Military Academy on 1 January 2015. The Director of the Tactical Command and Staff College leads the unit and is assisted by the Course Commanders.

The Tactical Command and Staff College safeguards and maintains the traditions of the Branch School. Its anniversary is 10 October. Its traditions march is Taistelkaatte and its tradition colour is the former colour of the Branch School.
