The degrees we offer

We offer the following degrees:

Finnish citizens who have a bachelor's degree from a civilian university can apply for the Executive Assistance Programme (Master's Degree) and those who have a Master's Degree can apply for the doctoral programme in military sciences.

The National Defence University also offers continuing education. Continuing education is in-house training for Defence Forces', Border Guard, Defence Ministry and partner organisations' personnel.

The National Defence University is also a signatory of the national Flexible Study Right agreement that provides university students the opportunity to include studies from other Finnish universities in their degree.
